Music nights

It started few weeks ago when Farah, the organizer cum my housemate mentioned to me regarding the music night which was held annually. I missed Raju, my dance coordinator. So here came my recruited team...

Gratitude to my fellow friends who made the music nights a good remembrance. We had 4 consecutive music nights in their residence ushering the real official one last night. Putting aside sound system, it was good generally. However, the practice sessions we had were more enjoyable.

Ernest, the violinist and my singing partner. You did really well. Thanks for your time and practicing alongside with me.

Tek Jee, guitarist #1. It was great with your accompany. You know when you said "No" our spirits sank so abruptly. How can we miss you out as a team? Thanks for being around.

Sabena, my last minute pianist who was supportive enough to practice day and night despite her busy works. Was touched when you were counting beat by my side when I was stressed missing the timing for Scientist. Thanks Sab, owe you a big one.

Chern Wuay, guitarist #2. A fast learner, he was just happened to sit on the sofa and being counted as part of the team. Thanks, with you added more fun and laughter.

Michelle and Jia Ki, the well known singers in IMU. It was my pleasure to be able to play along. Thanks for tolerating my slow picking up and mistakes.

Standing: (Left) Tek Jee, Michelle, Sabena, Jia Ki, Joo Ee. Sitting: (Left) Me, Ernest, Chern Wuay.

Here ended our very last music night in IMU. I had a good time working with you guys! Not forgetting Joo Ee, my camera girl, Su Yi, who came all the way from KL, and my friends who turned up to support. For the organizer and team, thanks a bunch!

"爱是不保留", my favourite, my worship. Too bad the camera memory was full and it was not completely recorded. If it was not of the only plug-in-guitar, we would have had an a capella instead. Should have recorded our practice run through.

"Melody", I made the most mistakes ever. Sab and TJ must have had a hard time covering me. The crowd was having fun though, and I agree I looked shy :p The singing along part from the floor was warm. Appreciate your supports people!

"The scientist", lost count of how many times the mic had been changing. Nonetheless, well done Jia Ki!

"To love you more" featuring Michelle, the song that stressed me the most and took the longest to practice. Combination of a fantastic voice, stressed out yet skilled violinist and a-little-serious looking me. Not bad!
