27/365 - Labouring scene

People say labour pain is the utmost pain of life. Instead of facing the four walls, won't it be great if you have better scenery like this when you are in labour? Picture taken in labour suite, at the sight of the labouring patients. Another thing I am liking Hospital Bintulu about :)

25/365 - Birzzle

It was a punishment. I was supposed to study and study as exam is around the corner but look what am I doing?! It was when I broke the record with a score way higher than that of before that the game jammed. Arrhhhggg, how frustrated!

So now, no more game till exam, I promise! God speed me :(

25/365 - Birzzle

Ps 139: 23-24 Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.

The most packed operation theatre I've ever seen during a caesarean section of a triplet. Unfortunately the youngest triplet passed away for Potter's syndrome.

21/365 - Double rainbows

Some say there will be rainbow after the rain. I say even during rain, there may be rainbow. And there are double rainbows!

21/365 - Double rainbows

Gen 9:16 The rainbow shall be in the cloud, and I will look on it to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.

19/365 - Little Hercules

My youngest bro has a habit of camwhoring. He likes photos and once plastered his faces all over the wall of his room. This is taken at a corner of his working desk. Cute isn't he? He is 22 years of age this year by the way. Oh how time flies...

18/365 - Fishing river side

It was simply by the road side for breakfast that the scene caught my attention. God's innovative creation simply amazes me. In the midst of busyness, don't forget to stop by and look around for the little blessings that He has for you.

18/365 - Fishing river side

Rom 1:20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.

12/365 - Cruelty

One rare off-duty weekend so we went to the wet market. Passed by this fruit stall and saw a bird tied on its leg, attempting much effort to fly but couldn't get away from the radius of string.

"Oh so the bird can eat all it wants." Ernest commented.

I wouldn't wanna eat even if my favourite food is in front of me if I am to be tortured like that.

What happened to humanity nowadays?

10/365 - 浪子的心情

When I was a houseman in Orthopaedics posting, a man in his early thirties came with a non-viable right lower limb secondary to periphery vascular disease. He had his above knee amputation done. Right before he was pushed into the operation theatre in the recovery area, he teared. So sad. And I saw his tatoo on the forearm that rightly described his feeling:

"浪子的心情"

Note how depleted is the blood supply with marked atrophy of the right leg.

9/365 - The empty gestational sac

Evacuated a failed pregnancy, which was showing an empty gestational sac from ultrasound scan prior to procedure. However, check out the fetus lying in it with well formed crown rump length! Don't you think it is amazing how a few cells come together can produce human being like us?

We are wonderfully and fearfully made :)

8/365 - Foggy morning in hospital

Taken on a postcall wee hour in the scenic hospital I am working at. A hospital with so much greeneries, jam-free with breezy fresh air. What can I ask for more? One thing I am thanking God for.

3/365 - Abuser

I was driving home along a canopy driveway after a rain two days ago. I swifted the car to the right to avoid a pile of water, as I knew it would splash the girl standing at the bus stop if I drove straight up. Just a couple of minutes ago, Ernest drove me back and passed by groups of school students. He mumbled,

"How good if there is a pile of water here (followed by evil laugh)..."

That's why they said, men are from Mars, women from Venus. Ernest and I are of totally opposite character.  Like what he said, the opposite attracts!

Happy 2013

A blessed new year to everyone!

Read lotsa greetings and new resolutions from all kind of media. Well, sad to say, I fulfil neither of my resolutions last year. So I am not making anything new. The only thing I am hoping for is, more of Jesus, better in work.

Year 2012, a year spent in Bintulu with more understanding of what Obstetrics & Gynaecology is about. A year of trial and failures. A year of gratitudes. A year closer to reunion with my mother.

Wish you a healthy, great and more abundant year ahead for 2013. Start well, end strong!
