Was having a rather good call yesterday till one uncooperative patient ruined it. One who refused delivery when os was fully dilated, restless, violent and ignorant! A few staff and myself got punches as a result of restraining her in the wee hours. She was eventually sedated and thankfully, baby still vigorous delivered by ventouse assisted delivery. Otherwise, it's gonna be my responsibility again.

Pregnancy isn't just about conception but labour process and thereafter, child nurturing. If any of it is breached, then it will be better to consider contraception. 

She did apologize after the event but my bad, I did not reply her a word and left to knock off!

Just as I'd decided to invest into my interest to get a SLR camera with all research and comparison made, things happened that I had to give it up for the time being. For the past one week that Ernest wasn't around, I am living on only smart phone but it was rather inconvenient for all web surfing and presentation preparing. 

Oh poor lappy, you've such short life span thanks to the thieves...

I miss the last time I relaxed this way. The work-sleep cycle is rather exhausting. Ernest deserves a break after his grueling exam. Well done, my dear although it's a near pass!

Ever since the break in, my landlady spent thousands to re-do the house grill and door. This door for instance, so much uglier than the earlier one. No joke, it's so heavy that you may faint if you bang into it. If the thieves are still capable to break this door, I admire their perseverence which if they put the same effort in earning, they may become millionaires. Yet she's still leaving in fear. She literally hid and peeped from the door slit when I came home in dawn attended an emergency.

Look at how much fear this world confers to a weaponless old lady. That's why we need heaven. Glory to God, peace on Earth!

131/365 - The proposal

On 10th July 2013 during our vacation to Philippines, having gone against the tradition, I boldly decided to propose to him. Many said it was supposed to be a guy's job. Since I had the thought of marriage before he did, I thought it would be extraordinary memorable if I do it. It turned out hilarious, but no regret!

I had it planned a couple of months ahead. Tek Jee, our buddy was informed in advance to give me a hand. The plan in the end differed from what I had in mind but the outcome was absolutely satisfactory! 

I decided to do it in the last evening after 2 long days of Caramoan Island hopping. A boat right in front of our chalet was decorated while Ernest was bathing. As soon as he was done, I suggested a beach side walk while Tek Jee quietly placed the ring in the boat decorated earlier, and faithfully guarded the ring from afar throughout our walk as there were a few kids playing around the boat. As we approached, I pretended a surprise as to why was there a ring on the boat. Ernest was surprised seeing his name on a card, and finally said yes! :)
