Restful weekend

After the sleepless nights with endless typing, I am done with my portfolios (Proud to say but it is only for this posting)! So here came my rewards...

Hiking up Bukit Minyak Beku, this was just the beginning point...Housemates united at Pantai Minyak Beku

And a breezy sunset sea view dinner with buddies, what more can I ask for?

As quickly as sunset, good time flies in a glimpse of eye. I thank God for this restful weekend. Rest is for a further walk, I am all ready for next week's works again.

Greetings from Batu Pahat

By God's grace, I have reached my final semester of medical school. Yeppie!

Passed by the fountain below for times, never know what's the significance of the stone and hammer until I finally being enlightened that: Hey, I am in Batu Pahat!
Much settled down with my three housemates namely (from the left) loyal housemate Khung Ying and two new housemates Wan and Nana.
It has been a long awaiting weekend. Workload has been crazily heavy. It makes me treasure my weekend and sleeping time more. Nonetheless, life is fun so far and I am keeping well. I am yet to explore the nice places around!

Excitement aside, being in the final semester pushes me to be firm in decision making. Housemanship is around the corner if everything is smooth sailing. The trend of me leaving home seems further away each destination. So where is next?

A lot of uncertainties. Responsibilities might tie me down. And home is where a heart belongs? Sigh.
Into Your hand, I commit again.

Seremban food

To be provided food is a blessing, to be able to enjoy food to its every bite and sip is my ultimate pleasure!

Having stayed in Seremban for two years, the food here aren't superb but some are unforgettable. So here are few of those...

My top three desserts:

1) Thick gingery smooth tau fu fa @ a corner stall in town
2) Finest ice-shred ABC with self added peanuts @ a shabby food court in town

3) Manually shred cendol @ Pasar Besar Seremban Various kon lo mee @ Hiong Kong Restaurant off Lobak

Various ice-cream cakes @ Mug's cafe, Oakland

Western conrners: Kensington provides romance and serenity; Fireworkz offers good portion and delicious steaks.

The food below obtained a clear pass from me, from the aspects of palatability, creativity, portion and cost. Let's see how much you can identify them.

And of course the list goes on...

So long, Seremban! I am excited to explore another new place. Going to miss Seremban surely to some extend!

I passed Semester 9!

I passed! Not with flying colours though but nothing can be happier than our 100% passing rate!

All glory to God! Appreciate all your supports and prayers.

Yes this is an automatic declaration. My stress level has gone slightly beyond optimal lately. It is time to take a break from blogging.

Hope my next blog post will be titled something like "I passed Semester 9 with flying colours!". All the best to the Semester 7s, 10s and my very own colleagues. We must make it together!

Friendship 10th anniversary

Friends are not somebody who will stay with you forever, but they will leave your heart an eternal footprint.

Exactly this day 10 years ago, somebody came to sit beside me. One who disliked me in the beginning, who commented I was not friendly enough to share book with her. And from then on our 10 years of friendship long run started.
