Cameron Highlands trip

Date: 25th – 27th August 2008

Description: Thanks to Chiu Shing, who took her days off in conjunction with my holidays to make this trip a success.

The places we visited in Cameron Highlands were as below:
(In my decreased favorable order)

1) Tea plantation and tea factory

2) Rose Sanctuary

View from top point of Rose Sanctuary

I saw sunflowers as big as my head!

3) Strawberry farm

4) Market

5) Bee farm

6) Butterfly and insects farm

7) Sam Po temple

*No picture snapped here, camera ran out of battery.

We got quite a budget stay in Father’s Guest House which was a 5 minutes walk from town in Tanah Rata. So walking was our main mode of transport. The food that we went for were surprisingly at reasonable price as a tourist spot. The amount spent for the 2 nights stay was about RM200 including transportation, accommodation, food and souvenirs.

Rainy days certainly spoilt some of our activities so our all time activity was to eat and eat. However, to walk in the rain at such cold weather was another fun I discovered!

You’ll be seeing familiar faces in the following slide show. There were only 2 of us so it’s either I shot you or you shot me kind of thing. Enjoy!
